It's a dilemma that everyone faces in business and personal development: "Should I work for perfection or should I prioritize efficiency?" I have often faced this question throughout my professional career, and I have some conclusions from my experience.
Perfection Is Delusive
In fact, trying to make every detail perfect may seem right at first glance. But perfectionism often creates unrealistic expectations, delays projects, and causes us to miss opportunities. In our pursuit of perfection, we sometimes lag behind the changes and innovations in the market.
Efficiency is the Key to Success
And being effective is about making the right and fast decision. Effective people are better able to manage their time and resources by adopting a "minimum viable product" approach. This approach allows them to remain agile in rapidly changing environments and stay ahead of the competition.
What Has My Experience Shown?
In my own experience, when I was chasing perfection, I often faced project delays. Instead, the projects where I prioritized efficiency were more successful, got results faster, and created bigger opportunities.
Which Should You Choose?
Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages, but today's business environment demands speed and flexibility. Therefore, based on my personal experience, I consider efficiency to be more important.
