Ready CV Examples: Templates by Field
Ready CV examples: templates by field, choosing the right format and adapting them to your experience — with an explanation of why each example works.

A CV example is not ready text to copy; it is reference material for seeing the right structure, selecting your own facts to fit the vacancy and writing them clearly.
If someone else's sentence "I increased sales 35%" is not about you, sounding good does not make it true. An example's value is not in the number but in the logic behind it: what was the situation, what did you do and what changed?
Below are profile and experience bullets for six fields. The names, companies and results are invented for illustration. Use the structure; take the facts only from your own experience.
How should you use a ready CV example?
Read the vacancy first, not the example. Extract the work, tools, field knowledge and results the listing wants. Then look at each section's function in the example: the profile summarises the fit, the experience bullets provide proof, and the skills list shows the tools the interview will test.
- Choose the matching field example, but do not take its headline as-is.
- Delete the bracketed explanations and write your own roles, dates, tools and results.
- For every claim, find a job, project, report or an explainable event.
- Cut information not in the vacancy and not affecting the decision.
- Read the final text aloud: you must be able to explain every sentence at the interview.
If you are building the CV from scratch, first prepare the fact sheet and vacancy map in the full guide to writing a CV. The examples on this page do not replace that work; they speed it up.
A CV skeleton that works across all fields
Job titles change; the reader's need barely does: who is the candidate, why do they fit this job and what proves their claims? The sequence below is a safe start for most job applications.
| Section | What goes in | What stays out |
|---|---|---|
| Header and contact | Name, target role, phone, professional email, city, a relevant link | The full home address, FIN, document series, bank details |
| Professional profile | The role, relevant experience, core proof and goal | Generic adjectives like "responsible and creative" |
| Experience and projects | From the latest role backwards: dates, activity, method and result | A long job description copied unchanged |
| Education | The field, institution, dates; a relevant project where needed | Every short course and event that does not affect the decision |
| Skills and languages | Vacancy-relevant tools, work scenarios and an honest language level | Software you have not used and inflated levels |
| Portfolio | A work sample cleaned of personal data, and your role | Unauthorised client files and an unexplained generic link |
Europass's official CV guide likewise recommends selecting experience for the vacancy, using plain language, strong verbs and reverse-chronological order. These choices must be right before the template's look.
Ready CV examples for 6 fields
The examples share the same structure, because each preserves the role–fit–proof line. The difference is the type of proof: in sales, customers and stock; in marketing, goals and metrics; in finance, controls; in technical work, problems and solutions; in education, planning and learning outcomes.
1. A CV example for a fresh graduate and customer service
A fresh graduate's problem is not "nothing to write." The difficulty is translating the skill visible in coursework, volunteering, student organisations and personal projects into work language. If paid experience is thin, show the relevant projects and responsibilities right under the profile.
Profile example
A fresh Business Administration graduate with registration and attendee-communication experience at university events. Took part in cleaning lists in Excel, routing enquiries and preparing the final report. Applying for an entry-level role where customer enquiries are tracked systematically.
Experience bullets
- Checked the attendee list for a two-day career event, separated duplicate records and prepared the entrance desk's daily list.
- Grouped incoming email questions by topic and routed them to the responsible team members, flagging enquiries awaiting replies separately.
- After the event, merged the anonymous feedback results in Excel and summarised the three most repeated problems for the presentation.
Here the work done is visible instead of "I was an organiser." If registration was not part of your experience, do not use that bullet. For an inexperienced candidate, a precise small responsibility beats an invented big result.
2. A CV example for sales and retail
In a sales CV, writing turnover alone is not enough. Your share in the product, channel, customer group, stock or after-sales process must be visible. Do not present a team result as a personal one.
Profile example
A sales specialist with three years as an adviser and shift lead in retail. Has worked on product selection, stock checks and the daily till handover. Applying for a store operations role that identifies customer needs correctly and documents the sales process.
Experience bullets
- Clarified the customer's budget and usage need, and explained the differences between three suitable products in plain language.
- At shift's end, reconciled the till and returns records with the sales report and noted the discrepancies before handover.
- In the weekly stock count, compared shopfloor and warehouse balances and sorted the products needing reordering by category.
If you have a real number, write the period and baseline too: like "completed the personal sales plan at an average of 108% in Q2 2025." If there is no report, do not guess that figure. A verifiable change you created in the process is a result too.
3. A CV example for SMM and digital marketing
When a marketing CV stays at the level of "I posted content," your role is unclear. Did you build the strategy, or execute a ready plan? Which part of the copy, design, ads, reporting and approval process was yours?
Profile example
A marketing coordinator with one year of content and social media execution at a B2B services company. Has worked on the monthly content calendar, turning expert interviews into copy and preparing channel reports. Applying for a role that ties content to business goals and measurable behaviour.
Experience bullets
- Extracted the customers' most frequent questions from the monthly meeting with the sales team and turned them into LinkedIn and blog topics.
- Combined the copy, design, approval and publication dates in the content calendar, making late materials visible in the weekly status.
- At campaign's end, compared clicks, enquiries and conversion data alongside views, and prepared two hypotheses for the next test.
Writing well is valuable, but a marketing role also needs goals and measurement. When placing work samples into a professional portfolio, do not settle for screenshots; show the problem, your role, the decision and the result in sequence.
4. A CV example for accounting and finance
In a finance CV, trust comes from control steps, not the word "attentive." Write which documents, which period, in which system and with which checks you managed. You can show the process's scale without revealing confidential amounts and counterparties' data.
Profile example
An assistant accountant with two years' experience in primary accounting documents and bank reconciliation at small and medium businesses. Has worked with electronic invoices, payment documents and monthly expense sheets. Applying for an accounting role requiring document discipline and on-time closing.
Experience bullets
- Matched supplier invoices against contracts and payment documents, flagging missing attachments before they entered the payment list.
- Grouped bank statement transactions by internal expense codes and prepared the month-end reconciliation sheet.
- Built a checklist for travel and advance documents and returned incomplete submissions to the responsible employee before closing.
Name the software you use only together with your real working level. Calling a system you saw once in a course "professional" surfaces quickly at the interview. A tool in the skills list should show its use in an experience bullet.
5. A CV example for IT, helpdesk and programming
In a technical CV the tool list can be long, but a list does not show a problem solved. When the system, the user, the fault, your intervention and the verification method are written together, the technical level reads more honestly.
Helpdesk profile example
A helpdesk specialist with experience in first-line user support, Windows workstations and account access problems. Has worked on prioritising requests, recording resolution steps and preparing short guides for recurring problems.
Experience and project bullets
- Logged access, printer and local network requests by impact level and kept the resolution steps in the ticket history.
- Prepared an internal guide with screenshots for recurring password reset requests, showing the user and security notes separately.
- In a personal web project, built a component validating form data and surfacing error messages, and documented the code with a README on GitHub.
For a programming application a GitHub link helps, but choose two completed projects instead of ten that do not run. In the README, write the problem, the setup steps, the technical decision, your contribution and the known limitation. A code sample makes the CV's claim verifiable.
6. A CV example for teachers and education
In an education CV, writing only the subject and grade does not show how the lesson was built. Planning, assessment, adapting for students with different needs and parent communication are the role's core proof. Do not share students' personal data and grades.
Profile example
A teacher with three years of secondary school mathematics teaching and small-group sessions. Uses diagnostic tasks per topic, staged explanation and short feedback. Applying for a role combining the curriculum with individual learning needs.
Experience bullets
- Applied a short diagnostic task before starting each topic and fed the concepts needing revision into the weekly plan.
- Prepared three task levels — core, supporting and extra-challenge — for the same objective.
- At parent meetings, went beyond a general grade to explain the student's strength, the next goal and a support step at home.
Attributing one factor to yourself in an education outcome is hard. So instead of a broad claim like "I raised students' results 50%," separate what the measure was, the period and your intervention. If you cite a test result, be ready to explain the group size and comparison conditions too.
The ATS, file and privacy check before sending the example
If a beautiful-looking CV has a broken text layer, search and copying may not work. Not all applicant tracking systems are alike, and a "100% ATS template" promise is not real. Whatever format the listing requests, fulfil that requirement first.
- Keep the headings as text; do not put contact details inside images or icons.
- Open the PDF and find your name and two key skills with search.
- Copy the file's text into a plain editor and check the order does not scramble.
- Click and test the phone, email, LinkedIn and portfolio links.
- Save the file with a clear name like "Name-Surname-TargetRole-CV.pdf".
- Remove data an initial application does not need: date of birth, FIN, ID card and the full address.
The National Careers Service's CV sections guide explains the core parts — contact, profile, experience, education and skills — and emphasises tailoring the CV to the vacancy. The State Employment Agency's CVYarat platform lets you enter your details in three steps and download a PDF. A generator speeds up the format; it does not do the fact selection and final check for you.
Instead of collecting soft skills in a separate list, show them in the experience bullets. If you write "teamwork," the joint work, your responsibility and the outcome you collaborated for should be visible.

The DOCX file below contains separate, editable pages for these six fields. Each page holds the profile, experience bullets, skills and "adapt to yourself" notes. Do not send the document without replacing the sample names, companies and results with your real information.

Complete the ready file with your own work samples. In marketing, design, writing and technical roles, the portfolio shows the proof of the CV's claims. If you are applying for freelance work, a relevant sample and clear working terms can influence the decision more than a long job history. If you want to polish the final text with AI, use the workflow in preparing a CV with AI that prevents fact invention.
Frequently asked questions
Can a ready CV example be sent as-is?
No. If the companies, titles, numbers and results in a ready example are not yours, keeping them is giving false information. Take the structure and sentence logic, and replace all the facts with your own experience and the target vacancy's requirements. Then check that you can explain every claim at the interview with a real event.
How many pages should a CV with no work experience be?
One page is often enough for a fresh graduate, but it is not an unchanging rule. If a second page is genuinely needed to show relevant projects, volunteering and internships legibly, it can be used. The goal is not filling space but selecting fitting proof, deleting repetition and making the core information visible on the first page.
Is a photo mandatory in a CV?
There is no universal obligation. If the vacancy explicitly asks for a photo, you can use a neutral, professional picture. If there is no requirement and appearance is not part of the role, removing the photo saves space and reduces the personal data you share. For foreign applications, check the country's hiring practice and the listing's specific requirement separately.
Is it better to send the CV in Word or PDF?
Send whatever format the listing requests. If none is stated, keep a DOCX for editing and a PDF with a text layer for presentation. In the PDF, search, copying, links and page breaks must work. After conversion, be sure to open the file on both a phone and a computer for a final visual check.
Do I need a separate CV for each vacancy?
Your base information can stay the same, but the profile, the order of experience bullets, the selected projects and skills must be tailored to the vacancy. The goal is not artificially repeating keywords. Show first the strongest proof tying the employer's requirement to your real facts, and do not let the core fit drown below unrelated detail.

Before closing the example, the final question is this: for every key sentence in the CV, can you explain the real event and your own role? If the answer is "no," that sentence looks strong — but it is not yet yours.
